We are exceptionally pleased with our portraits taken and prepared by David Clapp in Kingsport,TN. I had to bribe, threaten, and finally drag my two teenagers and husband to get them in the door of the photography studio. I wanted a special portrait to mark the emptying of the nest before my youngest headed off to college in the fall. I wanted to capture a moment in time. However, in the moment we arrived, only the dog was happy to be there. Our collective discomfort began to ease from the moment we were greeted at the door and it didn’t take long for the photographer and his assistant to have all of the grumpy, snarly, unwillingly participating family members laughing out loud and striking all the happy family poses that I dared not even hope for only hours before. They truly worked a miracle. As we viewed the slide show from our session, we caught all the feelings I had longed to express with this once in our lifetime splurge of a family photo session. He captured our family at our best and we now have a fine art piece to commemorate the moment the last of the babies flew out of the nest. I could not be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend this studio.
So great! I picked up my portraits of me and my dog today, and I was on the verge of a flood of happy tears. Can’t say enough good things! Excellent working with my dog, excellent everything!
